 DONATIONS AT WORK

Housing: First month, last month and security deposits, rental help, transitional housing, The Lord’s Place fees. (Housing is our largest expenditure).
Home Set-Up: Furniture, kitchen essential, linens, etc.
Children’s Essentials: Cribs, toddler beds, diapers, clothes, blankets, toys.
Utility Payments: Initial deposits, occasional monthly bills.
Transportation: Uber rides, bus passes.
School Fees: Uniforms, school supplies, laptops, books, application fees, testing fees, appropriate clothes, etc.
Extra-curricular Fees: Sports’ fees, uniforms, shoes, and cleats, equipment.

​Daycare costs
Incentives for participants: gift cards (Walmart, Target, Publix).
Problem Solving Payments: car repairs, driver fines, and suspension fees.
“Wish List” requests: dance lessons, boxing lessons, a guitar.
The Martha Ahr Scholarship: recently approved higher education scholarship for qualified participants or graduates.
***Every disbursement of funds originates with a request from one of the drug courts to the Finance Committee and then must be approved by the Board of Directors.
